What I love about Texas is a that the winter season is very short. Not sure I should be planting yet, but I can certainly work on planning, weeding, and borders.
To do list:
1. Weed middle garden
2. Measure rose garden border and plan edge.
3. Look at paving stones for beside rose garden.
4. Count bricks for front garden and take one out- new stones or paint bricks?
5. Clean out pots.

Hostas
I love Hostas, a great plant I grew to appreciate in Maryland. It is now April and my Hostas are coming up in two places, the bird feeder garden and the garden by the chimney.
Collette
Collette is appreciating her new post in the bird feeder garden. For now, that is a more accurate name than Japanese garden which I hope it will become with more work. I have added various elements- rock, water by way of a bird bath, and various green plants. When they fill out more, I will work on shaping and I would like to include an evergreen of some kind. I am also ordering more sweet woodruff. I love it already though.
This weekend, I planted some ivy and citronella grass.

Oxalis; Plum Crazy Yellow
I bought this plant at Cornelius Nursery. I've always liked clover and I am enjoying the colors. They are doing very well - droop at night and pick up in the day. Easy potted plant.
